I think this is actually a different book by Marianne Celce-Murcia, namely "The Grammar Book- An ESL/EFL Teacher's Course" (isbn 0838447252). I'm flattered to say that, in 2009, the University of California-Irvine used this book as part of the Education 134: Teaching English Internationally course. Knowing past from past perfect, active from passive and when and how to properly use a gerund is something that all good English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers should be able to do.
